看看我这个问题：
using config file '/usr/local/vhost/search/etc/517mr_article.conf'...
indexing index 'main'...

total 9.489 sec, 8899636 bytes/sec, 3298.02 docs/sec
total 0 reads, 0.000 sec, 0.0 kb/call avg, 0.0 msec/call avg
total 4 writes, 0.000 sec, 0.1 kb/call avg, 0.0 msec/call avg
读取了3W条数据，写入了4条，索引大小不到1K。

关键是你这个，是否真的有问题呢？
3w数据，84.4MB，数据量很小，得到的索引小，很多时候是可以理解的啊！

不可能啊，我以前的索引没这么小的。
而且这个索引才600多个字节。
数据量再小索引只有600多个字节似乎也不可能吧。

小不怕，关键是是否实际存在问题；如果实际上不存在问题，哪怕什么！

bin\search -c etc\csft.conf -a Twittter Opera   ，我用这个语句执行之后，和网站上给的结果不一样，谁能解答一下

那你的结果是什么呢？

FATAL: index '......': unknown charset type 'zh_cn.utf-8'：

设置了charset_dictpath，charset_dictpath设置的路径下也有uni.lib。
我用的是rails的ulstrasphinx。一直报这个问题。大家帮我看看谢谢

您好，我请教个问题：
我按照站内教程（www.coreseek.cn/docs/coreseek_3.2-sphinx_0.9.9.html）装了coreseek，with了mysql源，到这里：
/usr/local/coreseek/bin/search test
可以正常得到的结果：
index 'test1': query 'test ': returned 4 matches of 4 total in 0.000 sec
.......
words:
1. 'test': 4 documents, 6 hits

跟教程上一致，然后我启动了searchd进程：
提示启动成功：
using config file '/usr/local/coreseek/etc/csft.conf'...
listening on all interfaces, port=9312
我用netstat -anp查看了端口情况：
tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:9312            0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      28593/searchd  
应该也正常的吧？但是我用api里的test.php进行测试：
php test.php test
结果报错：
Query failed: connection to 127.0.0.1:9312 failed (errno=110, msg=Connection timed out).

我尝试debug了一下sphinxapi.php文件，发现问题是出在fsockopen 这里，于是我单独写了php文件，进行测试：
$fp = fsockopen("127.0.0.1", 9312, $errno, $errstr);
var_dump($fp);exit;
发现无法得到句柄，我试着换了别的端口，比如mysql的，nginx的，就没问题。

这个问题应该不属于coreseek或者sphinx，但是我目前还没有找到解决办法，请求帮助，谢谢~

补充下，我的php.ini开启了allow_url_fopen = On，我也实验了：
$fp = fsockopen("www.baidu.com", 80, $errno, $errstr, 30);
var_dump($fp);exit;
也是没有问题的。
